SENIORS FESTIVAL

Chelsea Heights Community Centre is proud to be part of the Annual Victorian and Kingston Seniors Festival. The festival celebrates ageing positively throughout the month of October and recognises the important contribution older people make to our community.
We are excited and have organised 4 great new events promising some good times and laughs ahead!
We are looking forward to welcoming new and returning participants throughout the month of October.

Walk to the Wetlands
Friday 7th October
9.30am - 12pm
***Due to severe weather conditions forecasted this coming Friday, unfortunately we have had to cancel our Walk to the Wetlands.***
Join us by foot, bike, or car for an information session at the Bird Hide. The organisation Friends of Edithvale Seaford Wetlands will welcome us and discuss all things about the Wetlands and the bird migration.
Walking group starts at 9.30am from CHCC (20 minutes’ walk) or join us directly there at 10am. Return to the Centre expected by 12noon.

A Musical Afternoon
Friday 14th October
12pm - 2pm
Join us for a delicious afternoon tea with live music entertainment and popular tunes.
The Real Paul Hogan will entertain you with his versatile velvety voice that covers swing, jazz, pop and rock. (see video clip below)

Strength and relaxation with Shelley
Monday 17th October
12pm - 12.45pm
Join our favourite personal trainer Shelley for a special FREE class. Stretch and Relaxation class builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centred and calm.
