Chelsea Heights Community Centre is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that plays a vital role in supporting the social, educational, and cultural wellbeing of the local area.
Our Centre is inclusive and welcoming, offering a wide range of programs, activities, and services designed to engage people of all ages and backgrounds from both the local and surrounding communities.
Through its diverse offerings, the centre fosters connection, participation, and lifelong learning, helping to strengthen community ties and create a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to get involved.
Stories From Around the World: Interactive Puppet Show
Little ones will discover fascinating myths and legends from around the world, including stories from Ancient Egypt, India and the origins of Lunar New Year.
Through interactive storytelling and puppetry, children can explore different cultures and traditions while enjoying a fun and engaging experience.
Join us for a wonderful adventure full of stories, imagination and discovery!
Cost : $2.50 per person
Specifically designed for children from 2 to 5 years old (Siblings under 12 months old don't need ticket(s) but will not be able to participate). Parental supervision required at all times. **Limited Places Available**
***Please note, our usual Wednesday morning playgroup will not run on this day***
A Children's Week 2026 Incursion presented by Chelsea Heights Community Centre in partnership with the Government of Victoria.
Centre Closure for Renovations
Chelsea Heights Community Centre will be temporarily closed from Saturday 28th November 2026 to Sunday 10 January 2027 while the City of Kingston carries out major renovations.
We look forward to welcoming you back from Monday 11th January 2027, when most of our activities are expected to resume.
Thank you for your understanding and patience while we make these improvements to our Community Centre. We look forward to welcoming you back to an improved space in the new year!

Hall hire
We have a range of spaces for hire for community, business and private use.
Groups and individuals can hire regularly or as a one-off function. From a child birthday party, your next meeting or wedding, we have a space to suit every event!
Community Pantry
Our Community Pantry is running low on supplies as the need is growing for local families. Thank you for your help and support!
