One Billion Stars Celebration NHV 2022 - InstagramFacebook Post (1)

Weave a star, connect and share!

A One Billion Stars celebration with our local communities of weavers from Longbeach Place, Aspendale Gardens Community Service and Chelsea Heights Community Centre.

Come and join us for a morning tea and to connect with other star weavers.

We will welcome Bronwyn Currie, Co-winner of Kingston Woman of the year 2022 and founding member and organiser of the Women's March4Justice Melbourne.

What is the One Billion Stars project?

The purpose of weaving stars is to continue nurturing global conversations of how to end violence using the joy and healing power of the arts and traditional crafts.

Each woven star is a beautiful symbol of light, courage and solidarity to end all forms of violence, including violence against woven, bullying and racism.

All Welcome!
